SHUTTER

A photographer wanders into a fog drenched, abandoned apartment, drawn by the allure of decay. As the rooms grow darker and the silence heavier, her camera captures more than just emptiness as she realises she is not alone.

I wanted to create an atmospheric horror film that incorporates aesthetics of film photography. This is a 3D digital animated film, something I believe is the perfect medium to create horror and creatures. I wanted to keep the film short, eerie and suspenseful by using ambient sound design to build tension and lure the audience's engagement in.

Animation, rigging, lighting, shading and cloth simulation by myself. Made using Blender, Marvelous Designer, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
